When she left Bourne Leisure, DJ Touray became self-employed Dj'ing commercial music & mixing the likes of 80s, 90s, Pop, R&B, Hip Hop, Dance, Rap & old skool club classics in pubs and running karaoke events whilst furthering her interest in music mixing in her local area, and further afield. Building up several years of experience and offering entertainment beyond expectation, she then took some time out to have her son.

After several years of illness, DJ Touray came back on the scene with a strong interest in Jamaican Dancehall Reggae and began to play at programmes in South England learning different mixing techniques. Creating mixtapes then soon became her keen interest. After also developing a keen interest in Afrobeat music in 2015, she discovered Ghanaian Dancehall artist, Shatta Wale! Dj Touray is now the Shatta Movement British Ambassador and UK DJ & works tirelessly to promote the music of Shatta Wale on a global scale. Dj Touray visited Ghana in December 2017 where she played a sell-out show to all Shatta Wale's fans.
